All you poets out there . . . how about this to get the creative energy flowing? Lexington Poetry Month (LexPoMo) is looking for poets to write one poem a day for 30 days during the month of June. The James Baker Hall Foundation is proud to be a sponsor in 2025 in conjunction with Workhorse.LexPoMo challenges poets to sign up to become part of a community to write daily poems to share, receive comments on your work, to comment on others’ work and to possibly get published in the annual analogy that is put together each year.

“Registration opened on May 1st and we have 121 poets who have already committed,” states Christopher McCurry of Workhorse. “Last year we had around 315 as a final total. Over the 13 years, we have had over 600 unique poets participate.”
Each year, Workhorse produces an anthology of the poems submitted for that year. Signing up is easy and after answering a few questions about yourself for the community, you will be good to go. To sign up, visit https://lexpomo.com/lexington-poetry-month-sign-up and happy writing!
